A, A.J, Tony – call him what you will – here’s the whole story:
The first, and perhaps the only thing you need to know about Anthony Jacquette, is that he was born and raised in the dynamic atmosphere of a Caribbean home while containing a cocktail of Jamaican, Haitian, and French DNA within. Surrounded by mechanics, nurses, bankers, and the entire works of hands-on jobs - perhaps another thing in Jacquette’s DNA is hard work and determination.
Knowing that he, too, would work tirelessly at whatever he turned his hand to, A.J. was firm in the belief it would have to be a passion. Luckily, his interest in art and automotive was blossoming right around the time this conviction was setting in, allowing them to skyrocket together. The rest is the beautiful result of turning your passion into your profession which has led to A.J. amassing 18 years of experience in the industry.
As his first move in the professional world, Jacquette joined the Press industry, where printing old-school material, such as Magazines, Newspapers, and flyers, was the call of the day. This role served as the launch pad that saw him glide into the graphic design world, where he expanded his skillset before sculpting it into expertise.
Then came the big move to the U.S. For his first job in this new land, A.J. joined an Automotive Advertising agency. There, he spent 8-10 years immersing himself in the craft, learning the ins and outs like the back of his hand. Never content to just be, A was already fomenting a curiosity for animating elements and creating videos.
Out of this flurry of ideas backed by extensive skillsets and experience, an apparel brand was born. This brand became a playground for A.J. to play with ideas and exercise techniques from his unbeatable medley of lifestyle, hospitality, and automotive experience. This step fully marked his move from restaurants and hotels to high-end car models.
During this time, A.J. has trotted the globe, absorbing aspects from every corner of the world and infusing it into his trademark art style. His creations exist on the fizzling line where tradition and modernity meet. No surprise, then, that it’s considered captivating by most. Today, you’ll find A.J. continuing to trailblaze in the automotive advertising and brand identity realms. In the near future, A.J. plans to develop his brand while helping others to do the same. Soon to collaborate with Porsche, Anthony Jacquette looks forward to continuing to move his brand in the direction of luxury while never ceasing to offer his emblematic high quality.
